"RaceForge" from now on shall refer to the contents and IP contained within RaceForge.org, a service and trademark owned and provided by Big Brain Racing Ltd, a company registered within the United Kingdom.
"The Client" or "Client" refers to the end user of RaceForge, whether that is a visitor, or an active user of the platform.
Welcome to RaceForge. By accessing or using RaceForge and it's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
What is RaceForge?
RaceForge is a platform where you can upload, download, and share files (JSON) generated and used by a multiplicity of third party gaming titles such as Assetto Corsa Competizione. RaceForge provides a service which allows for these files (JSON) to be stored, downloaded, and shared online between users. The RaceForge platform also allows for the modification of these files and their contents. As such, any content uploaded to RaceForge.org becomes data stored and therefore data owned by RaceForge. RaceForge reserves the right to modify, own and share any files uploaded to RaceForge.org.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using RaceForge or any of it's services, you confirm that you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable UK laws and regulations.
2. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Notification of changes may be made available through the RaceForge discord. Your continued use of RaceForge after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Client Responsibilities
- The Client is solely responsible for any content uploaded to RaceForge and it's services. Content uploaded should be compliant with these Terms, and legal by law. Setups uploaded from any paid services, or any setups covered by Copyright are not permitted for storage or upload. RaceForge does take preventative measures, however the responsibility for compliance remains with The Client. Failure to comply may result in Account Termination.
- By uploading a file or any consumable content format (such as JSON) to RaceForge, you give us the right of ownership, usage, and redistribution as we see fit.
4. Intellectual Property
In accordance with this agreement, RaceForge hereby grants the Client a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub licensable licence to: (a) use the services and the platform, in the territory solely in connection with the permitted use. The Client may not use the services or the platform for any other purpose without prior written consent by RaceForge.
The Client shall not:
- copy, sell, distribute, reproduce, transfer, publicly display, translate, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, deconstruct, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, lease, loan, sub-license or otherwise deal in copies or reproductions of the platform or the services in any way except as expressly permitted by this Agreement;
- remove, delete, obscure, disable, modify, add to or tamper with any program code or data, copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices and legends contained on or in the platform or the services;
- circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the platform or the services, or with features that prevent or restrict use of the platform or the services;
- use the platform or the services to infringe, misappropriate, or violate any privacy rights or third party rights (including Intellectual Property Rights);
- use the platform or the services in a way that is derogatory, libellous, threatening, offensive, harassing, deceptive, abusive, promoting of violence or any illegal or immoral activities;
- develop any service or product that is the same as, or substantially similar to, or that competes with the platform and/or services or any data or functionality in the platform and/or services during their time as a Client on the RaceForge platform.
5. Privacy
Your use of RaceForge is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. Please review it to understand our practices.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to RaceForge at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use RaceForge will cease immediately.

RaceForge does not store, use, or process any personal information other than those supplied when logging in with Discord. When The Client logs in with Discord, they agree to their user information (Discord ID, Username, Avatar) being shared, processed, and stored by RaceForge.

How We Use Cookies
We only use cookies to manage our user login system. Specifically, cookies are used to:
- Keep users logged into their accounts after their initial login via Discord.
- Maintain session information to provide a seamless experience during your visit to RaceForge.
No other cookies are used on RaceForge for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes.
Login System and Data Retention
RaceForge supports login through Discord. Here's how we handle your data:
Upon a successful login or registration through discord, RaceForge receives the following information: Discord ID, Discord Nickname, Discord Global Name, Discord Avatar. This information is stored within a private and secure database owned by RaceForge. In order to maintain a user's session on RaceForge, this information is stored as a cookie, and is read when re-visiting the RaceForge services. This cookie can be removed at any time by The Client.
Managing Cookies
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. However, please note that if you choose to disable cookies, you may not be able to stay logged in to RaceForge, and certain functionalities relating to this may be impaired.
3. How We Use Your Information
This section outlines the use of your Discord account details (Discord ID, Discord Nickname, Discord Global Name, Discord Avatar) within RaceForge.
- Identification of individual users.
- Displaying your Discord identity alongside uploaded and published setups.
4. Data Security
RaceForge complies with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (EU GDPR).
